The overall combined length of pistes across the Pal-Arinsal ski area is approximately 39 miles (63 kilometers). However if you include both Pal and Ordino-Arcalis ski areas, then the Vallnord ski area has a combined area of approximately 58 miles (93 kilometers).

The overall number of pistes in both Arinsal and Pal is 49. These include a range of pistes for all abilities including Greens, Blues, Reds and Black. Once again, ideal for beginners, intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders.

Piste Suitability:
Beginner Skiers and Snowboarders:
As previously mentioned, the ski resort of Arinsal is a great choice for beginners. The nursery slopes that are dedicated to beginners, provide the perfect gentle slopes to learn on. An added bonus is that due to its altitude, it generally means that the nursery slopes have good snow conditions throughout the season.
Intermediate Skiers and Snowboarders:
A large majority of pistes in Arinsal can be enjoyed by intermediate skiers and snowboarders. Throughout the area, there are a good selection of blues, reds and a few black runs to be enjoyed. Arinsal is linked to the neighbouring ski area of Pal via a cable car, where you will find even more variety and choices of intermediate runs.
Advanced/Expert Skiers and Snowboarders:
Although the ski area of Arinsal is not particularly known for being the best ski resort for advanced/expert skiers, it does have a few black runs. Not only that but there are also several opportunities for ‘Off-Piste’ skiing. One area in the Arinsal region that is known for its off-piste is La Capa. Also, the neighbouring ski area of Ordino-Arcalis provides a varied terrain that is more challenging.

Parking:
